1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to NB Alert. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the NB Alert mobile app and website (nbalert.top), operated by NB Alert ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

NB Alert is a prepaid electricity meter monitoring and notification platform. We help users track their prepaid meter balance, recharge history, and consumption for supported electricity providers (such as NESCO and DESCO), and send low-balance and recharge alerts via push notification, SMS, email, and WhatsApp.

• Balance and meter data are fetched from the respective electricity provider's systems.
• Alerts are sent based on the thresholds and channels you configure.
• Some features (extra meters, SMS alerts) may require a paid plan or coins.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information (including a valid mobile number and meter/account number) and keep it up to date. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

• Paid plans and SMS packs are billed through supported payment gateways (e.g. bKash).
• Prices and plan limits are shown in the app and may change with notice.
• Subscriptions remain active until the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments for digital services and consumed credits are non-refundable.

6. Coins & Wallet

NB Alert may offer in-app coins earned through daily bonuses, rewarded ads, or promotions, which can be redeemed for features such as SMS credits. Coins have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money. We may adjust coin rates, limits, or availability at any time, and may revoke coins obtained through fraud, abuse, or manipulation.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to access meters you do not own or control.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Abuse rewards, referrals, or promotions, or use automated means to create accounts or earn coins.
• Resell or commercially exploit the service without our written permission.

8. Notifications & Consent

By adding a meter and choosing alert channels, you consent to receive service-related messages (push, SMS, email, WhatsApp) about your meter balance, recharges, and account. Standard carrier charges may apply for SMS. You can change your alert channels at any time in the app.

9. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third parties including electricity providers, payment gateways, Google/Firebase, and Meta (Facebook) for analytics and advertising. Your use of those features may also be subject to the respective third party's terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NB Alert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from inaccurate data, missed or delayed alerts, service interruptions, or third-party failures.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time (account deletion). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraud or abuse.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
